I'm writing to express appreciation for the work ET&T does in behalf of The Commonwealth of  Pennsylvania State Police.

Notably, Mr. Tyler Jones and Mr. Mike Riddle are distinguished for the excellence they display in performing their duties. The qualities they exemplify are cooperativeness thoroughness, and professionalism. This is seen in all the projects worked by them, but especially are they commended for their work at Troop K Philadelphia.

As a whole, ET&T is to be commended for the timeliness and innovativeness of responses to PSP's requests, spearheaded by Mr. Michael Yablonski. It is a pleasure to do business with ET&T.

Willing To Put The Customer First…

Dear Jim and Tyler,

I wanted to provide some feedback to you on our phone system upgrade from last night 6/14/2017. Doug arrived a bit earlier than expected and made an additional backup of the system and voicemail just as a precaution. At 5:00 we started the cut over from the old system to the new. Within 15 minutes or so, the new hardware was installed, the cards migrated, and the new system was booting up. At that point we encountered some issues with our T1 Interface card. The card would not load correctly and I told Doug we have had issues with it in the past and usually doing a reboot fixed it. We rebooted the system and still the card would not come online. Doug did some troubleshooting and even tried another card he had in his truck. Unfortunately, neither of the cards would work. We tried to boot the old system with the card in it and that system would not even power up. (We are very lucky it didn’t go down unexpectedly and we would be without phone service during the day.) Doug was in contact with your main office and tried some additional things to get the system up. It ended up that Doug made arrangements to drive up and meet someone to pick-up a new T1 Interface card. After Doug left, he contacted me to let me know he had the card and was on his way back, then periodically as he got closer to our office. Once he returned, he installed the new card and everything came right up and worked perfectly. We verified things and left for the night about 7:45 PM.

Before leaving, Doug told me he would be at our office at 8:00 this morning 6/15 to check things again and make sure everything was working properly. I arrived at 7:15 and Doug was already here waiting for me. We reviewed everything and updated the administration software on my system and Doug was on his way about 8:15 or so.

I hated to have Doug drive to get the card last night but our contract with the Department of Defense requires 24/7 support. Doug did not hesitate about going and at no time did he try to push it off until this morning. Then making the extra effort to come in early this morning to verify things again, it shows that Doug is willing to put the customer first and do what needs to be done to keep them running.

I just wanted you to get the client’s side of the events so you can see what an exceptional person Doug is and how well he represents your company. I’ve had the privilege of working with Doug many times over the past 5 years and can honestly say that he is one of the best Technician’s I have ever worked with! And, he is the main reason we switched our support contract from Mitel to ET&T.

I wanted to write to you in regards to Tyrone. He happened to come out today in place of Mike to do our cabling survey over at the warehouse. It’s nice to finally put a face to a name. Finally Figured Out How To Make It All Work

(The building owner BOAS has a custom system that we were added to when we first moved here.) I am especially thankful for the tech department...

So far we are very pleased with our phone system. It works very nicely for us. I am especially thankful for the tech department who answers my emails very quickly and with skill and kindness. They do a wonderful job! Recently we had an outage of phone service for 5 days, and Tyler Jones was a great help to me. Verizon and XO had been very unresponsive, so when I contacted the ET&T Techs on day 2.5, I was so grateful that Tyler quickly returned my email, and worked with me to confirm that it was indeed a problem with Verizon. He also offered to send an ET&T tech over to double-check everything, and to contact Verizon for me to get some response to the situation. I did not take them up on that, but was glad he stayed in email contact until Verizon/XO resolved the problem.

Comfort Knowing That Our Technology Is Monitored Appropriately…

On behalf of the Firm, I have implemented three telephone systems with a migration between two of those systems. The staff at ET&T respect that business must continue during the upgrades. The staff had done everything necessary to assure the systems were put on-line smoothly with little down time so our offices could continue to be available to our clients. For the purchase of the three telephone systems, I have worked personally with David “Dave” Turek. I have found Dave to be polite, courteous, and explanatory while offering educated input on what functions of the new telephone systems would work best for our business and most specifically, each individual office. Dave and I continue to have a rapport on common interests and remain in touch periodically.

In the past year we engaged ET&T to be our technical advisors. This is a multi-function engagement. ET&T monitors our systems for protection and function, upgrades several programs that our Firm utilizes, implements new computers as needed among a host of other behind the scenes items to assure we are running smoothly and safely understanding that we, as a legal profession, are bound by strict measures of confidentiality. The Firm’s technical advisor is Howard Magnes. I have found Howard to be quickly responsive, polite to all our staff and most willing to help when needed. Howard and I have also developed a good working rapport.

As a legal profession, our mission is to put our clients’ needs first. To achieve our mission, we cannot dedicate our time to becoming technology proficient to begin to understand what would be needed in our environment to remain competitive and available to our clients.
