Allentown Optical is an independent, employee-owned lab that has been providing eye-care services since 1984. They are equipped with the latest in digital equipment which allows them to produce lenses that provide superior vision. Allentown Optical is committed to delivering premium quality products and excellent customer service.
In February 2019, Allentown Optical proudly celebrated 35 years of excellence in the optical industry. Beginning in 1984 with six staff members, they tirelessly worked to expand the business. After six years they relocated to their current 10,000 square foot facility which was designed by Michael Gessler to fit their exact requirements for a superior work environment.
SEEING THE BENEFITS
Like any modern industry, the optical industry continues to grow and change. ET&T worked with Denise Rodriquez, Owner and CFO of Allentown Optical, to install a state-of-the-art Mitel MiVoice Office 250 Converged Digital Platform that fulfilled the company’s growing needs.
Prior to working with ET&T, Allentown Optical used a tape recorder answering machine without voice mail or intercom capabilities. Now their system has built-in voice mail and voice mail to email synchronization. Additionally, with the push of a button speaker-phone mode is activated, allowing Denise and other staff members to communicate hands-free.
As Allentown Optical continues to grow, we hope to continue to fulfill their voice and data needs.
